The Housing Authority of the City of Kelso, Washington, and Board of Commissioners met in regular session at Kelso Housing Authority office at 1415 S 10th, Kelso WA 98626.

MINUTES: The minutes of the March 2014 meetings were presented. *****a motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes.

VOUCHERS: The Conventional Vouchers No 032826 through No 032893 totaling $35,470.71 for the month of March 2014 and Housing Choice Vouchers No 066190 through No 066318 totaling $ 120,909.09 for the month of March 2014 and Local Funds vouchers No 5815 through 5833 totaling $ 14,699.58 for the month of March 2014 and FSS Voucher Escrows No1045 through No1045 totaling $ 0 for the month of March 2014 Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) for the month of $54,503.39

Report from Public Housing Vacates for March-(2) in Kelso Homes, (3) at Cowlitz Villa, Columbia (0), Chinook (0). PNRC in Portland, Oregon, Staff training. Cecilia Larson Sect. 8 Coordinator and Tammy Randolph – Public Housing Coordinator attending the Nan McKay training on “Effective Interviewing for Program Integrity. Traci Jackson – Financial Officer attended “Jason Casterline Financial Housing. Joleen Reece Executive Director attended “Executive Management and Board Relations.” Grounds Janitorial/Maintenance advertisement went to Work Source and we are waiting on resumes. Interviews will be held. CAP FUND program for Kelso Homes, bids due 3/20/2014. No bids received. Future rebid and advertisement will go out to Daily News and DJP. Smoke Policy addendum was presented. Smoke Policy comment is out to tenants. Update on Storage sheds; they will be starting 4/21/2014 at the Cowlitz Villa. Pouring concrete in areas behind units, storage sheds are building built off site during preparation. SEMAP score was 81 for FY 2012-2013. Indicator 3 Dertimnation of adjusted income scored the lowest 0/20. HUD requirements is that we correct this SEMAP deficiency within 45 days of notice. To include the description of correction for Indicator 3.Also, to have ED trained in this area of rent calculations for Section 8 and Public Housing.
