The Housing Authority of the City of Kelso, Washington, and Board of Commissioners met in regular session at Kelso Housing Authority office at 1415 S 10th, Kelso WA 98626.

MINUTES: The minutes of the May 2014 meetings were presented. *****a motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes.

VOUCHERS: The Conventional Vouchers No 032960 through No. 033014 totaling $ 31,951.12for the month of May 2014 and Housing Choice Vouchers No 066448 through No 066574 totaling $ 125,071.43 for the month of May 2014 and Local Funds vouchers No 5851 through 5866 totaling $ 13,558.02 for the month of May 2014 and FSS Voucher Escrows No1045 through No. 1045 totaling $ 0 for the month of May 2014 Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) for the month of May $31,020.90

BOARD NARRATIVE
JUNE 19, 2014

Public Housing report 0 vacancies, Columbia Apartments 2 vacancies, Chinook Apartments 0 vacancies and Cowlitz Villa 0 vacancies. Section 8 Voucher Program-total vouchers 271 and 7 currently looking for housing. Section 8 Voucher Program Utility Allowances was completed by NelRod. Company. Position has been filled for Grounds/Janitoria/Maintenance. CFP-Fans and Heaters have been started on June 16, 2014. Tearing out old existing heaters and patching walls from existing wall heaters. Replacing with new heaters in July. Public Housing Coordinator-Tammy, has held a tenant forum for “Smoke Policy Addendum and Storage Unit. Informing tenants of the addendum for the Smoke Policy and responsibilities of the new storage units. HUD review information was sent from the review in March. SEMAP indicator 3 was approved by HUD from correction in March review. REAC inspection is due on June 24 and 25 for inspection of Public Housing Properties.
