To provide housing opportunities and coordination of needed social services to assist low and moderate income clients in their effort to attain economic self-sufficiency and to do so in a professional and efficient manner.

 

Assist non-profit programs in efforts to provide housing with specialized services for homeless persons, chronically mentally ill, families in transition, elderly and other special needs groups.

Assist low-income families by providing new multi-family units at affordable rents.

To provide homeownership opportunities by utilizing the FSS (Family Self Sufficiency) Program and other programs that are available.

 

 

“Health Officials are currently taking steps to prevent the introduction and spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) into communities across the United States.  Housing providers, including organizations that run continuums of care and shelters,  as well as the general public,  can play an important role in this effort.  Through collaboration and coordination with state and local health departments, housing providers can disseminate critical information and prepare to take additional steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19, should state and local health officials identify such a need.”     – HUD

BIDS DUE 3:00 P.M. September 28th, 2021

Kelso Housing Authority, Kelso, Washington will receive sealed bids in writing until 3:00 P.M. September
28th, 2021, at the Kelso Housing Authority Administrative Office, 1415 S. 10th Ave, Kelso WA 98626, for
KHA HOMES WATER LINE REPLACEMENT after which time and place the bids will be opened and read
aloud to all who attend.

Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.

Contractors may obtain electronic plans and specifications after September 8th, 2021 from:

A pre-bid walkthrough will be held at the project site at the intersection of 10TH avenue and Walnut street in
Kelso on September 21st, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

This project is subject to prevailing wages. All work performed on this project is subject to the higher of
prevailing state rates or the federal wage rates.
