EXPERIENCE

ROSS is a voluntary program for elderly participants (age 62+) that serves to connect participants with resources to assist with daily living activities. The ROSS program aims to:
- Provide onsite case management for personal guidance and support.
- Enhance 2quality of life by connecting residents to services and activities to help ensure basic needs are being met.
- Establish goals based on personal/housing needs and priorities to enable participants to remain living independently.
The ROSS program utilizes a ROSS Service Coordinator to link public housing residents with supportive services, resident empowerment activities, and collaboration in working towards self-sufficiency. The ROSS Service Coordinator assesses the needs of residents and coordinates available resources in the community to help meet those needs; this is done through identifying applicable services programs, assisting with accessing resources, and providing ongoing advocacy and support.
